Sarah Kazmi is a founding partner at the firm Energy Resource Management and a certified director from Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance (PICG). She is qualified Barrister from the England and Wales and Advocate of High Court in Pakistan. She has 17 years of experience as a Corporate & Commercial Lawyer with particular expertise in Energy. For years Sarah has been providing legal services to Companies in the industry in contentious and non contentious matters. She now aims to impart her knowledge and skills acquired as a legal practitioner with other participants in Energy in order to build their capacity in the field of law.

Sara Muhammad Malik, (née Sara Awan) is a co founder of the firm Energy Resource Management. Sara is an Oil and Gas Lawyer, a Regulatory Affairs and Policy Specialist and the started the Pakistani Chapter of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (now AIEN). She has a LLB from University of London, LLM in Energy Law and Policy from the Center of Energy, Petroleum Law and Policy, University of Dundee and a Masters in Economic Policy and Global Energy Management from Columbia University. She has 15+ years of diverse work experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
OUR STORY
Sara & Sarah first met at a law firm in 2005. Since then, both have worked together and individually contributing in the Energy Sector through their legal skills and expertise. Over the years the two would exchange the experiences of advising companies and organizations until finally in 2017 , the two decided to put their experience, the good and the bad to better use by starting Energy Resource Management which would give them a platform to create an enriched learning environment for Pakistan’s energy professionals through training and fostering a culture of career and leadership development through mentorship.
