programme at a glance
Mentors are matched with an appropriate mentee based on the details submitted in the application and on the preference and availability of both parties. Once matched, ERM will provide the Mentee with confirmation that he/she is enrolled in the Programme. ERM will inform, both the mentor and mentee about the corresponding person by emailing each person with mutual contact information. The Programme is designed to help young industry professionals, already working in the energy industry or wanting to transition into the energy industry to learn from a seasoned professional. It is not intended to assist with job placement.
The programme duration is 6 months. There is no fee to join.
Note: Date for new mentorship cycle will be announced soon.
APPLICATION CRITERIA FOR MENTEE:
1. Must have minimum 1 year and maximum 5 years of work experience and
2. Must be working or interested in working in the energy sector in Pakistan

I joined the ERM mentorship program in 2020 which gave me an opportunity to
talk about my career goals, personal as well as professional growth, and skills to
maintain a balanced work environment and how to diversify my approach in
pursuing my career objectives. I never had any mentor in my life before and I
must say this has come out as one life-changing experience for me. Miss
Aneeza Qazi was my mentor throughout this period. She enlightened me with
her immense professional knowledge through her vast experience and I must
admit the knowledge she had imparted upon me has been a great asset
throughout my career. Her words of encouragement led me to discover my
potential, motivated me to explore every opportunity I had, and inspired me to
go places that I never thought I would ever reach. One of the best outcomes of
this engagement is that I have learned it is important to understand our true
potential and how hard work it requires to attain it. We discussed my long-term
career goals and action plans. Not to forget one amazing quality that I
appreciate most about her is her willingness to help in so many different aspects
of life is peerless. I hope to remain in contact with my mentor in the future as
well. All in all, I had an incredible experience with everyone involved in this
program. In the end, I’d like to congrats the team of the ERM mentorship
program for providing this much-needed opportunity to young energy
professionals and carrying it out successfully.
I joined the ERM mentorship programme which gave me an opportunity to expand my horizons and look beyond the job role I am currently in. The programme assigned me with a mentor who was working in the same company as me and with the same background, yet miles away from my location, so I might not have had a chance to make acquaintance with him. He has immensely helped me in aligning my actions and plans towards my long-term goals. One piece of sound advice he offered me was to always set my own personal objectives according to my potential so that my performance can reach my potential. He has also helped me dig deeper into every faucet of my personality and turn it towards something productive. We also worked on developing goals and action plans after every meeting to help me move forward with my objectives. All in all, my experience with the ERM mentorship programme was a superb one! And I plan to stay in touch with my mentor even after the program is over!
